CSBI Mission Statement:  To provide a building offering affordable facilities that will enhance the ability of human service agencies to serve Norman and Cleveland County residents with the greatest possible economy and efficiency in operations, ease of access, convenience and benefit to the public served.

The people of Cleveland County who enter our building are abused, neglected, elderly, helpless, hungry, homeless, unemployed, confused and desperate.  Many are children.  They receive help and hope from one or more of the 17 agencies who call CSBI home.  These agencies are able to maximize their services to those in need because CSBI offers an affordable location in which they can conduct their business.

The collaborative environment created by this consolidation of services, along with the central location on the CART bus route, allows CSBI agencies to better address the needs of our community.

Recent Activities
Welcome Central Oklahoma Community Action Agency!

In mid-September Community Action combined their transitional housing, food bank and prescription services with the RSVP offices already located at CSBI and moved into the upper level of the E Wing (northeast side) of the Community Services Building. This has made it possible for all of COCAA's Cleveland County services to be offered in one location on the CART bus line. We are very happy to have them as a part of the CSBI family.
